Bio

I am a native Italian and I recently developed my passion for photography while living in Switzerland in 2003. That is why most of the photographs in this gallery were taken in this beautiful country.

I mainly enjoy landscape photography, but I am also increasingly interested in people and abstract patterns in nature. In May 2006 I moved to the US / Texas. I am now attempting to photograph all of the beauty I can locate in this new country and provide my own special interpretation.

For me, photography is a way to freeze a beautiful moment... a personal interpretation and representation of the reality that surrounds me. I also enjoy the ongoing experimentation with light and colors.

Most of the photographs you'll find in my gallery were originally from slides (primarily Fuji Velvia) scanned with a Nikon Coolscan V scanner. There was minimal digital retouching used — only what was needed to provide a digital rendition of the original slide.
